I'm sorry, it looks I misunderstood what you meant when I first answered you. No offense intended, I take back my words.
By the way, yes, Gouken was not in Street Fighter Alpha, but that doesn't mean he didn't play a key role in Ryu's and Ken's youth.
Luckily I found some sprites of him, and I was able to introduce him in the story. ^_^
